Brothers Keeper is a Rock n Roll Band like you haven’t seen in a long, long time unless you’ve seen THEM lately. The group consists of Scott Rednor on guitar and vocals, Michael Jude on bass and vocals, John Michel on drums and vocals, and recently inducted Rob Eaton Jr, on guitar and vocals. Grammy award winner, and harmonica virtuoso, John Popper, of Blues Traveler, joins the band.
John Popper is a founding member of Blues Traveler, serving as the band’s frontman with lead vocals and harmonica. For some songs, he forgoes the harmonica in favor of guitar, most often a 12-string acoustic. A prolific songwriter, he has composed the majority of the lyrics and music of Blues Traveler’s songs.
The Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal in 1996 was awarded to “Run-Around,” a song that Popper composed.
Michael Jude and John Michel, have steadily played with the John Oates Band (Hall and Oates), and many other world-renowned musicians. Scott has been involved in recording and touring projects on a national level for more than 25 years and has toured and recorded with The Dean Ween Group. Rob Eaton Jr has toured and recorded with The Drunken Hearts. The debut album “Todd Meadows”, from Brothers Keeper featured Blues Traveler front man, John Popper, and NYC Rock and Blues Pioneer, Jono Manson. Other guests on the album included Jason Crosby, Glenn McClelland (Ween), DJ Logic, Joel Guzman, and Rob Eaton Jr.
