Mission Statement
To provide the persons and property of Summit County protection from damage, destruction and harassment by domestic animals through the enforcement of regulations setting minimum standards for the keeping, caring and control of animals, and to provide impounded animals a secure and sheltered environment offering unclaimed adoptable animals an opportunity for placement into permanent homes as a service to the community.
