The Summit BOCCE Club has announced plans for summer BOCCE league sign-ups (for adult men and women) in Dillon. The newly formed league is accepting applications from individuals and teams interested in playing BOCCE on Tuesday and Wednesday nights starting on July 13 and 14 and continuing through the last week of September. A Thursday night date will be considered if the Tuesday and Wednesday night leagues fill up. The season will end with tournament play. Individuals may also sign-up for alternate player status. All players are required to be members of the Summit BOCCE Club to participate in league play.
The Summit BOCCE Club 2010 annual membership fee is $65.00 per person. The fee includes all organized league play and other club functions. Applications are available below. Deadline for membership application is Friday, June 25th. All membership fees are payable in advance and must be received by July 1st to be eligible for league play. Make checks payable to: Town of Dillon – with notation: BOCCE Club dues. The Summit BOCCE Club has regulation BOCCE sets available for purchase. Prices stated may be lower depending on number of sets that the Town of Dillon orders in total. The estimated cost of the regulation set is expected to be appx. $60.00 with a group order of 10 or more.
BOCCE Ball sets are available for rent from Lake Dillon Bike Rental starting July 2nd for $5.00 per hour.
Lake Dillon Bike Rental is next to Lake Dillon Liquors across the street from the BOCCE Courts in Dillon Town Park - off of Tenderfoot Street and Lake Dillon Drive.
